Allison Stokke one of the most successful Pole Vaulters in the world was born 22 March 1989, in Newport Beach California United States. A photograph of Stokke at an age-appropriate track event went viral, and was widely praised as the pole-vaulter of the century. The athlete has gained a massive fan base on social media sites like Instagram and Twitter. Stokke is an athlete and is on the same track as Jessica Ennis Hill. Los Angeles Times noted, amongst others it was reported that Stokke was not seeking or encouraging such attention. Brett Hutchins and David Rowe in Technology Power and Culture in the Network Society contrasted Stokke's situation with those of American women football players Alex Morgan and Hope Solo. The authors stated that their achievements in sports were tarnished due to the sexualization and fetishization of their appearances. In relation to Stokke they also noted the fact that online comments were frequently insulting in nature and blamed the process of sexualization to the women. Some drew comparisons to Brandi Chastain's 1999 FIFA Women's World Cup celebrations in her sports bra, where the accomplishments of women were largely ignored by discussions over their looks. Stokke was photographed at New York by a Californian reporter working for an online track and events website in the early part of 2007. With Leather, a popular sports blog that has many male readers posted the picture in May with the caption Pole Vaulting Is Sexy Barely legal. Matt Ufford, the owner of the site which the photo was published on and threatened with a lawsuit by the photographer if the picture wasn't removed. However the article received lots of interest from other sites and the picture was widely shared. A tribute website to Stokke was soon up and running with a number of images of her competing in the pole vault and following the spread of these photos through social media, internet fan groups attracted hundreds of followers. Alyce Caron..............Alyce Caron was born in Houston in the United States in February 1957. She wished to go to Florida to complete her the high school. After graduating, she decided in 1974 to change her job by doing an internship. Alyce's proud to be the daughter of a college professor. She is also an instructor at a university and gets support from her family. Alyce has a family that lives at home in Texas. Her father works with the U.S. Army. Three years ago, they were celebrating their father's 92nd birthday. Alyce made use of social media to post the most beautiful photo of her daughter and recognize the contributions his father had made in his country through the U.S. Army. The mother also urges her child to concentrate on schooling. The daughter she has enrolled in received the National Merit Scholarship from the University, and will be celebrating her 22nd birthday in 2022.
