On the 21st March, 2012 Doctor Who producer Steven Moffat confirmed at a press conference that Coleman will be the companion of the Doctor alongside Matt Smith after Karen Gillan and Arthur Darvill have left the show. Moffat selected her because of how well she could work alongside Smith, and that she was faster at speaking than Smith. Eva Larue..............................Eva LaRue is an American actor and model. She is active in the business since 1987, and was a part of many TV and film projects. She was more popular on the television. Eva's roles in TV series Dr. Maria Santos, in All My Children, and Detective Natalia Boa Vista in CSI Miami stand out. The actress was nominated the two "Daytime Emmys" in the role she played as well as having the a chance explore her artistic talents. Alongside being an actress, Eva is also a charitable philanthropist, as well as an entrepreneur. Eva has three husbands and one child born from the third.
