Ellie Goulding

Ellie's (n e Elena Jane Goulding 30 December, 1986 Hereford England) was an English Singer-Songwriter. Ellie Goulding, a British artist and singer, gained notoriety in 2010, when her smash singles Guns and Horses and Starry Eyed caught public attention. Although she started out writing songs in a folk-inflected style, she eventually grew into a more electronic-influenced artist, touching upon dance music and ambient synth pop. Her unique soprano sibilance and knack of writing catchy yet emotionally earnest music, Goulding, much like her predecessors Kate Bush and Imogen Heap, stands at the forefront of the current mainstream and arty, independent-minded pop.Goulding soon graduated from blogging to printed media, garnering the attention of mainstream magazines like The Guardian and fielding offers from record labels. Polydor Records, a major music label, chose to sign the singer and began preparing to release Goulding's debut album.
