tito ortizJacob Christopher Ortiz, born January 23 1974) is an American mixed-martial artist , politician and politician. He is currently affiliated with the Combate Americas promotion. Ortiz is most well-known for his involvement with the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) where he was a former Light Heavyweight Champion, having been the champion from April 14, 2000, until September 26, 2003. He was among the first big names in the sport alongside Randy Couture and Chuck Liddell. Ortiz was the top pay-per view star of 2006 and won his fights against Forrest Griffin and Liddell. Ken Shamrock Ortiz, the director of Punishment Athletics MMA equipment, is also the owner of Punishment Athletics ' clothing and equipment. They is located in Huntington Beach, California.
