Before becoming a competitive dancer she was an avid user of TikTok to upload dance videos. She quickly built a following and became the most-followed creator of the platform in March 2020. Khaby Lame took over in July 2022. She has appeared on several Hulu series, including The D'Amelio show, TurboCat, as well as Snap Original's Charli vs. Dixie. D'Amelio was a contestant in 2022's Dancing with the Stars celebrity competition. She won alongside Mark Ballas in the thirty first season. D'Amelio became the first person to have 50 million and 100,000,000 users on TikTok. D'Amelio was the most lucrative TikTok female in 2019 and the highest-earning personality on the app in 2022, according to Forbes. She is TikTok's most recognizable star. [3][4][5]
